The no-hostage policy
The QR industry's favorite trick is letting you print a code, then deactivating it until you pay. We think that should embarrass everyone involved. So it's policy here: once a Qranite dynamic code exists, it redirects. Subscription lapsed? It redirects. Card expired? It redirects. You only ever lose editing and analytics — never the code itself, and your scanners never see an ad or an upgrade page. Static codes don't even touch our servers, so they're beyond anyone's reach, including ours.
Pricing questions
What happens to my codes if I cancel?
They keep redirecting, forever. You lose the ability to edit destinations and view analytics beyond the free tier, but your scanners never hit a paywall or an ad. We will not hold printed codes hostage.
Is the Lifetime plan really one payment?
Yes. $79 once for 10 dynamic codes with unlimited scans and full analytics. No renewal and no card kept on file. If you later want more codes, that's a separate one-time purchase.
Do free dynamic codes show ads?
Never. Scanners go straight to your destination. Some competitors show full-screen ads on free codes; we consider that hijacking.
Can I pay monthly?
Yes — $9/month, cancel anytime. Annual is $72 (a third off). We don't punish monthly billing with hidden premiums.
Is there a free trial of Pro?
There's no trial because there's no trap. The free plan includes 2 real dynamic codes with no time limit, so you can test everything before paying a cent.
